STRYKE and Global Shop Solutions
Global Shop Solutions does not publish its API documentation; its customers get it with the SDK. So STRYKE starts from what your shop has: that documentation and your keys, your import, or one shop PC for the desktop runner.
How the connection works
Whichever of three doors your installation has.
- With the API documentation: Tell us your ERP, and STRYKE builds the connection with your keys and tests it, reading only, before anything is written
- With an import: STRYKE writes one file per entry in the layout your import expects
- With neither: STRYKE's desktop runner, on one shop PC signed into Global Shop, keys the entry into its own screens
What a PO becomes in Global Shop Solutions
A sales order, with the checks every STRYKE entry gets.
- A sales order with the customer PO number, lines, quantity, price and due date
- Every line matched to your part number and checked against your quote before it is written
- Through an import file or the runner, STRYKE cannot ask the ERP whether a PO is already in, so that check waits for a person's one click
- Vendor invoices go to your books as Bills
What to have ready
One of these, depending on the door.
- The API documentation from your SDK, the address it answers at and the keys it names
- Or your import map, and where your import picks files up
- Or one shop PC that stays signed into Global Shop, for the runner
Read the vendor's own pages
Global Shop Solutions publishes these; they are its pages, not ours.
- Global Shop Solutions
- Product names describe compatibility only; STRYKE is not affiliated with Global Shop Solutions.
